Covid Cases In Pendle Have Doubled In The Past Week9th of June, 2021
The Covid-19 statistics for Pendle show the number of new cases has increased by over 100% during the last seven days.
This brings the total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to well over 10,000 this week.
And the infection rate per 100k has risen again, from 83.6 last week to 132.4 this week.
Mobile vaccination centres are currently open daily in Pendle at Morrisons car park Nelson and TK Maxx Colne and people aged 18 and up are being urged to come forward for their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
There will also be a vaccination bus at the Co-op Car Park in Barnoldswick on Saturday 12 June.

The age groups with most cases are 10 - 19 and 20 - 29, although there are new cases across all ages up to age 70.
